Make believe

614 SW 11th Ave
While co-working with a friend, I found myself staring out the window for answers rather than pen to paper. My eyes zeroed in on a message: Make Believe. Its purpose, and mine, finally clear.

The common phrase for so long had meant "to pretend". To be something that was never really possible, except for in my imagination. A princess, to fly, a faerie, to read minds, a gazillionaire...

But have you ever really listened to the words. Make Believe?

Make. To bring into existence. To produce. To cause to be or become.

Believe. Confidence in the existence of something. To be certain of. Accept as true.

To make believe is to create truth. Because your truth is your reality.

So next time you make believe, focus on something that really matters to you.
World peace; fall in love; be a rock star; travel 'round the world on a unicorn.
