Live with Purpose

I'm an introvert. I do love the company of friends, but I prefer one-on-one connection over crowds. And whenever I do put myself out there, much needed alone time to recharge will be required.

Because I'm not one for attention on myself, I tend to voice my opinion with a familiar audience within a safe space. Sometimes I wish I were more like my friend, Lynn, who puts herself out there - LITERALLY. Not everyone shares her views, but that doesn't stop her from voicing her beliefs about saving Mother Earth and treating all people equally with respect and compassion, even when passersby shout their disagreement and alternative views in not so nice phrases.

Lynn is my hero. I may not have the cojones to stand on a street corner by myself, my views on display, trying to make the world a better place. But I do live with purpose. Just in my own introverted way. I share my views through my words. In my conversations, stories and social media posts. I share my views through my actions, from choosing a vegetarian diet to participating in rituals to combat climate change. And just maybe, my words and actions will make a difference. Hopefully, they will educate, entertain and inspire others to lead a joyful, compassionate life.

Whether you're an introvert or extrovert or somewhere in between, live life with purpose.
